Next, we strategize and plan the best solution for you. This will be based on the source of the odor, the type and the age, dyes used, and materials involved. Sub-surface extraction. This is also an effective method to remove unwanted odors. We place a solution deep into the carpet fibers to push out the smell, and then wash it deep at its base using a specialized water treatment tool. The tool itself looks like a large claw and injects water with a gentle force at the base of the rug, forcing any excess odors and stains out of the it. This is a very cost-efficient treatment with significant results.
Deodorizing. Deodorizers can be utilized for minor odors, or as the final step of the cleaning process to be sure the smells do not return. They are time consuming but very worthwhile when used correctly.
